MMNC presents Dry Dock now at the Staten Island Conference House! this project display a working model Dry Dock for an up close and personal look at the world of ships from a functional standpoint.
Dry Docks are used for ship repair and maintenance. There are many kinds of dry docks and they work with the sole purpose to prolong the life of the vessel they hold. Caddell Dry dock on Staten island is the closest one to home which continues to service vessel all year around.
